Sure, some VB programmers will switch to C#, Java, or Delphi, but the very fact that they would consider making the change highlights the fact that these languages have evolved over time to address issues of usability and functionality that Visual Basic invented. Sayangna banyak underestimate duluan sama realbasic, emangnya apa yang salah dari varian bahasa basic? ya gak.
Semuanya berkoar2 tentang .net dan java…padahal in fact seperti kata siapa tu lupa gw
your customers (and the world at large at the moment) does not care or want to know about…..net, java, powerbuilder, realbasic, foxpro….. Visual Studio or Delphi or Interbase or MS SQL. They will probably not even care about the huge .Net run-time as long as everything works and the price is right. This I think is the real issue for customers.

There are several commercial products, including REALbasic, that are written in REALbasic. However, because some have vocally criticized REALbasic some vendors do not advertise that they use REALbasic to create their products.
REALbasic has come a long way from its initial roots as a Mac only product written entirely in C and C++ to the point where REAL software is using the current version of REALbasic to create the next version of REALbasic. While there are upsides and downsides, no development environment is without its faults. The important thing is this: as with any programming tool, the only real limitation is your creativity and imagination.

Gile dah lama banget gak main2 sama Borland Delphi, jadi lupa euyyy…..Pascal pun dah agak2 kabur gara2 keasyikan ama Basic dan turunannya. Kemaren dah download bukunya, Mastering Delphi 6, Mastering Delphi 7 dan Sams Teach U Delphi 4. Tapi tetep aja masih terasa agak asing. Kampret kok gw gak bisa feel-at-home Kalo gak pake RealBasic…terutama gara2 DBnya itu lo keren bengettss. Tapi kayaknya semua bahasa selain RB yg gw coba harus jungkir-jungkiran kalo soal DB; VB, .Net, C++, Java wekekekekke….setidak2nya perlu sedikit usaha lah beda ama RB yg kayak tinggal nyuap kemulut….atawww mungkin gw yang gak cerdas kali ya
