Jakarta – Jumat (4/4/2008) kemarin, pemerintah mengirimkan surat ke APJII dan sejumlah Internet Service Provider (ISP) di Indonesia untuk segera mencekal situs-situs dan blog yang memuat film ‘Fitna’.
Meski tak secara spesifik meminta YouTube untuk ditutup, namun bisa dipastikan, situs berbagi video ternama YouTube bakal menjadi salah satu sasaran pemblokiran.
Selain YouTube, situs jejaring sosial MySpace dan blog Multiply dikabarkan juga tak bisa diakses. Menurut salah satu anggota detikINET Forum berinisial Jackbauer, ia mengaku tak bisa lagi membuka situs YouTube dan Multiply. Bahkan menurutnya, situs MySpace, Metacafe dan RapidShare juga diblok.
Ia mengaku sudah menghubungi ISP-nya dan memang situs-situs tersebut dinyatakan sudah diblok oleh backbone-nya sehingga ISP juga tidak bisa meng-unblock. Berikut salinan e-mail yang diterima Jackbauer dari backbone-nya:
